Dr. Paul Rahe Lectures Cadets on International Relations

Dr. Paul Rahe spoke to “SS386: Political Thought” and many other cadets and faculty in the Thayer Award Room. A political theorist and ancient historian, Dr. Rahe lectured on “The Grand Strategy of Sparta,” using the Spartan case to argue that theories of international relations must consider domestic regimes. After the formal brief, Dr. Rahe took questions from cadets; the day after his lecture he visited two classes, dined in the cadet mess hall, and met with small groups of cadets and faculty.
