Abercrombie Garners CSFL Player of the Week Honors

Sophomore kicker John Abercrombie of the Army West Point sprint football team was named the Special Teams Player of the Week for the Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL), following his Week One performance against Chestnut Hill. Abercrombie connected on a 36-yard field goal to open the scoring in the Black Knights' 38-0 victory over the Griffins. He was also a perfect five-for-five on PATs in his career debut. This is the first weekly award for Army on the season after earning seven in 2015. Of those seven, three were for special teams.
