Those three words are just a few that Army West Point women's rugby head coach Bill LeClerc and a trio of Cadets use to describe the game of rugby sevens, which will make its debut in the Olympics this summer in Rio. Only seven players are on the field at one time, as opposed to the traditional 15. The fewer competitors open up space for explosive players to utilize their speed. To put it in perspective, sevens is a lot like overtime 3-on-3 for the National Hockey League, allowing a lot of open space and ability to score points. Unique to sevens is the fast-paced sport lasts just 14 minutes, not 80 like traditional rugby. Full Story»
