The West Point Pistol team hosted MIT at Tronsrue Marksmanship Center for their final match of the regular season. West Point won the match with a three aggregate score of 2200 to MIT’s 2165. CDT Mark Lister had the team high score of 552 out of a possible 600; CDTs Travis Moody and Jeff Schanz shot a 551 and 549, respectively; CDT Anthony Veith shot a 548. West Point shot a 2027 in Free Pistol to MIT’s 1979. CDTs Schanz and Moody led the scoring with 527 and 523, respectively; CDT Mark Lister shot a 490, and CDT Jack Fagerland shot a 487. West Point’s team score in Standard Pistol was 2098 to MIT’s 2035. CDT Schanz shot a personal best of 554 to lead the scoring for Army; CDT Moody shot a 536; CDT Minhee Pak shot a 505; and CDT Veith shot a 503. The next match will be Nationals at Talladega, AL, and Ft. Benning, Ga, on 11-17 March.
