Reflecting on a Great Semester for Cycling

This semester, the Army West Point Cycling team has emerged with character, competence and commitment that is nothing short of inspirational. The team has won the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (ECCC) Track Title, placed second at Nationals, won the ECCC Mountain Bike Title, as well as won the ECCC Cyclo Cross Title. Lead by this year’s CIC, CDT Kenny Dailey ’16, the team has developed and demonstrated a winning culture that inspires members to compete at the highest level, while focusing on maintaining a family feel. This semester, the team has been very busy racing every weekend in all three fall disciplines (Track, Mountain Bike, CycloCross), competing against teams that have more members, and winning the conference championship in all three racing disciplines. The team had a lot of fun this semester, and are very proud to be members of a team that pushes each other to become better every day.
