Men’s Basketball Earns Fourth Straight Win

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Army West Point men's basketball team used a 19-1 first-half run to secure a lead it never relinquished in a 77-55 win over Bryant on Tuesday night at Chace Athletic Center. The Black Knights captured their fourth straight win and moved to 7-2 on the year. Bryant dipped to 2-8 with the loss. Tanner Plomb led the Black Knights with 26 points on a 10-for-20 shooting performance, including six three pointers, and Kyle Wilson added 14 points. Dylan Cox handed out seven assists and Larry Toomey pulled in a team-best eight rebounds. Army connected on 14-of-38 three-pointers (36.8 percent), while limiting Bryant to 1-of-8 from downtown. Overall, Bryant shot 34.5 percent from the floor (19-of-55) and Army held the advantage in rebounding (43-37) and turnovers (14-9). Read More
