MAJ Joseph Kobes and Cadets Edric Zhan and Jacob Deem from the Chemistry and Life Sciences Department conducted MRI imaging at the Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Ballon, Dr. Voss, and Eric Aronowitz at Cornell assisted Cadets Zhan and Deem to create high resolution MRI images of their re-seeded tissue on a Bruker 7T small animal MRI. They are tracking cells with nanoparticles detectable by MRI. The cadets also toured the medical school as well as interviewed doctors and scientists at Cornell.
