The Department of History Inducts New Members into Phi Alpha Theta

Clik here to view.The Department of History honored all the new inductees to Phi Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society in History. Cadets had to earn a 3.1 average GPA in four or more history courses or be a history major with a 3.0 or better overall GPA. Professor Steve Waddell, as the Charles Boal Ewing Chair in Military History, provided the keynote speech for the event and highlighted the importance of mentorship in the field of History. Also, acting Department Head, COL Bryan Gibby '93 presented CDT Tony Marco '23 with a gift from the Department of History faculty recognizing his leadership role in the Department's mentorship and extracurricular programs.
