CENTER VALLEY, PA - Following a 20-9 season and clinching the second seed at the conference tournament, four Black Knights have garnered All-Patriot League accolades. Seniors Vanessa Edwards and Nicole Perri were both voted to the first team, while sophomores Carolyn Bockrath and Vanessa Wesley earned second-team recognition. "It is great to see four of our cadet-athletes get recognized by the Patriot League," said head coach Alma Kovaci. "It is impressive to see the development of our senior players. Nicole and Vanessa have worked so hard all four years and it is great to see that hard work pay off. Their passion for the game and the care their have for their teammates and our program makes them incredibly special. I know I will miss them tremendously next season." Edwards, a native of Sacramento, Calif., earns the first All-Patriot League First Team honor of her career after being named to the second team last season. Edwards started for Army in all 29 matches and played in 108 sets during her senior season. She recorded 19 assist-dig double-doubles, including a seven-match streak from Sept. 12-Oct. 2.
