Cadet Military Working Dog (MWD) Kennel Capstone to become new Army Standard Design. Last year, cadets worked on a capstone to develop a modular, sustainable, and scalable Military Working Dog (MWD) Kennel that could be built at any CONUS facility and, with minimal changes, house either 9, 18, or 27 MWD. 2LTs Andy Laubach, Matt Rigs, Jacob Sines, and Christian McCollum heard from the customer, PEO-MWD, that their design is in the final steps of being approved by IMCOM and the Army Veterinary Corps. Pending final approval, their design will be built on Fort Irwin.
