Sailing Places 6th at Mid-Atlantic Championship

On 6-8 Nov., the Army West Point Sailing team competed in the Middle-Atlantic Club Championship in Philadelphia, PA. The team placed 6th out of 18 teams. Under the skipper CDT Drew Beckman ’16 and crew CDT Jen Suter ’19, the team had two third place finishes, and a second place finish as well. This is the first time that Army Sailing has qualified for the Club Championship, which caps a successful 2015 Fall season. The team sailed in twelve regattas with over 160 hours of time on the water during the competitions.
