Parachute Demo Jump at MetLife Stadium

On 8 Nov., the Army West Point Parachute team conducted a Demonstration jump at the MetLife stadium in honor of Salute to Service Day by the Jets Football team. CDT Deets and CDT Volk, both seniors, trained tirelessly to be able to accomplish this historic event. Two practice jumps were made the day prior, boosting everyone’s confidence. Not all Parachute Jumps/Demonstrations are the same, and this jump will always be remembered as two milestones were accomplished. This marks the first time cadets conducted a jump for the NFL, and the first time any Parachute team has ever jumped in MetLife Stadium. The Parachute Team is proud and humbled to be part of such an unforgettable moment.
