Pipes and Drums Performs on the USS Intrepid

On 5 Nov., the Army West Point Pipes and Drums supported the Spade and Dagger Foundation in Manhattan, NY. The band performed on the flight deck of the USS Intrepid against the backdrop of the Manhattan lights, welcoming guests. The Spade and Dagger Fund raiser was sponsored by The Watchtower Foundation and US Special Operation Wounded Warriors Fund, hosting the annual event to support veterans both in the United States and United Kingdom. The trip was an excellent opportunity for the band to outreach not only the local community of Manhattan, but to also meet representatives from various parts of the United Kingdom and British Armed Forces.
