WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team concluded its weekend in the Lone Star State with a strong showing at the Rice Invitational on Sunday. Going up against some strong nationally-ranked teams, the Black Knights went deep into the tournament in multiple flights.
"Everyone played some high quality matches," said head coach Jim Poling. "We see what level we can play at, and this tournament is going to give us a huge confidence boost for the rest of the season." Cow Kyle Barnes got to the finals of the "C" flight, while plebe David Mitchell got to the semifinals.
