Faculty and cadets associated with the Black History Project at West Point have been collaborating with members of USMA’s dedicated library team to curate the exhibit "Foundations: Black Experiences of West Point." The exhibit explores Black history at West Point from the Revolution to the present day through a variety of material artifacts, archival material, visual and digital media, and oral histories. It will educate, stimulate, and move in equal measure. "Foundations" launched on the second floor of Jefferson Hall on February 1, 2023 and will run through late March. A larger companion digital exhibit will be available in late February for those interested but unable to visit Jefferson Hall. Pictured are two talented history majors, CDTs Delorv’A Wilson ’23 and Caroline Robinson ’25, working with Ms. Lisa Gomez and Dr. Kirsten Cooper from the USMA Library to set up the exhibit.
