MG(R) Barrye L. Price Guest Speaker at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Observance

The US Military Academy’s Equal Opportunity Office hosted the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Observance on January 20 at the West Point Club. The event’s guest speaker was MG (R) Barrye L. Price, who is currently the president and CEO of Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA). He is a 31-year US Army veteran, a former assistant professor of Military History at USMA and former director of Human Resources Policy Directorate for Army G1 Pentagon. During his speech, Price spoke about King’s years as a youth through college to his years working on the Civil Rights Movement. Price also included what King meant to him and the people who influenced him in becoming a leader of character.
