WEST POINT, N.Y. - Rising senior Kasey McCravey added another postseason award to her growing list of accomplishments this season in being tabbed a 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division I Softball All-Star with her selection to the first team as a third baseman.
McCravey is the fifth Black Knight to earn ECAC All-Star honors and the first since former teammate Amanda Nguyen was selected to the second unit in 2013. It was the first career ECAC All-Star nod for McCravey, who is just the fourth Black Knight named to the first team and first chosen at third base.
Last month the native of Scottsdale, Ariz., was named first team All-Patriot League and first team NFCA All-Region, was selected the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and was chosen a College Sports Madness Patriot League All-Conference First Team.
McCravey enjoyed an outstanding junior year leading the Black Knights offensively posting a .401 batting average with 69 hits, including 12 doubles and eight home runs compiling 105 total bases for a .610 slugging percentage.
