WEST PONT, N.Y. - Army West Point softball had to wait until the final weekend of Patriot League play to find out its fate, but it was well worth the wait as the Black Knights are part of the field for the 2015 Patriot League Tournament being hosted by top seed Lehigh (35-7, 15-2 PL) May 7-9 at Leadership Park in Bethlehem, Pa.
"Certainly we are thrilled to be returning to the tournament," stated Army West Point head coach Micelle DePolo. "The fact that we needed to wait until the eleventh hour is a great testament to how competitive the league is this year. Teams keep improving and nothing comes easy.
