WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the 25 men's nominees for the 2015 Tewaaraton Award, presented by Under Armour and senior John Glesener is among the top 25 for the third straight season. The Tewaaraton Award is recognized as the pre-eminent lacrosse award, annually honoring the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. A first team All-Patriot League performer, Glesener leads the team with 47 points on 27 goals and 20 assists.
Heading into tomorrow's Patriot League Tournament Semifinal game at Navy, he is riding a 43-game point scoring streak and owns 13 career hat tricks. The Camillus, N.Y., native has totaled 198 career points to rank eighth in program history. He ranks eighth all-time in career goals with 117 and assists with 81. Glesener is one of two players to make the top 25 from the Patriot League, joining Lehigh's Dan Taylor, who led the conference in scoring. Read More
