BALTIMORE -- The Army West Point men's lacrosse team faced a five-goal deficit with 11:51 left in the game against Loyola and scored seven goals, including John Glesener's game winner with six seconds left to pull off the 12-11 come-from-behind win to advance to the Patriot League Semifinals on Friday. The Black Knights (9-5) will face Navy in the Patriot League Semifinals in Annapolis on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Bucknell and Colgate are set to play the first semifinal on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Army West Point trailed 11-6 with 11:51 left in the game, but the Black Knights didn't stop playing. They finished the game with seven-straight goals, all of which came from seven different goal scorers. Cole Johnson tied the game with 5:36 left and then Glesener got open from 15 yards out and went low on Limone to win it. Daniel Grabher was key to the comeback with five face-off wins during the fourth quarter and they all came at the right time.
