HAMILTON, N.Y. – Junior Kelsey Minato sank the game-winning basket with four seconds remaining in the contest to finish with a game-high 28 points and send the Army women’s basketball team to a 64-62 win over Colgate in Patriot League action on Wednesday evening at Cotterell Court. Army grabs its third win in a row to improve to 12-5 overall and 4-3 in the league, while Colgate drops to 2-16 and 1-6.
Minato extended her Patriot League-record double-digit scoring streak to 66 games, while shooting 7-of-13 overall, 5-of-7 from three-point range and 9-of-10 from the foul line. Senior Olivia Schretzman added 10 points and five rebounds, junior Jean Parker contributed nine points and freshman Daizjah Morris added seven points in her first career start. Full Story»
