WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army seniors Larry Dixon and Joe Drummond will strap on the helmets and pads one final time as the pair compete in postseason bowl games. Dixon, a running back from Bremerton, Wash., will play in the East-West Shrine Game, while Drummond, a defensive lineman from Pittsford, N.Y., will compete in the Medal of Honor Bowl.
The Medal of Honor Bowl is set for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff on Saturday at Johnson Hagood Stadium on the campus of the The Citadel. NBC Sports Network will carry the game live. The East-West Shrine Game will be played Jan. 17 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m. and the NFL Network will carry the contest.
