NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Junior Jean Parker netted a career-high 25 points and set an Academy record with seven three-pointers as the Army women’s basketball team defeated Central Connecticut State, 74-60, on Saturday afternoon at Detrick Gymnasium.
Parker established a career high in points by the 3:39 mark of the first half after sinking five three-pointers to reach 15 points to surpass her previous best of 13 points. The junior’s seven triples mark the most in a single game in Army women’s basketball history, surpassing the mark of six held by Cara Enright (USMA ’08), Jen Hazlett (USMA ’14) and junior Kelsey Minato.
