The Robotics Research Center (RRC) hosted the first discussion of the semester for the Dean’s Book Club. The book club is comprised of staff, faculty, and cadets who read and discuss fiction and nonfiction works. This year the group is reading "I, Robot" by Isaac Asimov, a science fiction novel that explores the relationship between humans and intelligent machines. The focus of this first event was on Asimov’s predictions on the state of technology and the future of robotics. Participants also observed demonstrations in the RRC on the state of art in robotics and autonomous systems.
