Cadets Hold Spanish Conversation Table Event

The Spanish Club, led by CDT Gabrielle Young, held its first-ever Spanish Conversation Table Event to increase cadets' fluency in the Spanish language. Over 50 cadets from across the Department of Foreign Language's (DFL) Spanish courses practiced their oral language skills while having the opportunity to meet native speakers across the West Point community. The native speakers included DFL Spanish section instructors as well as cadets from Spain and Colombia. The facilitators promoted language proficiency at various levels to include discussing political and social factors in Spain.
