Cadets Attend the NAHF Enshrinement CeremonyCadets Max Mueller, Tyler Paget and Mattias Cooper had the opportunity to attend the National Aviation Hall of Fame (NAHF) enshrinement ceremony in Washington D.C. Cadets Mueller and Paget are part of the Aviation club sponsored by the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering and Cadet Cooper is one of the top cadets enrolled in Aeronautical Engineering courses in the department. The NAHF is chartered by Congress to recognize the unique contributions of select individuals to Aviation, preserve their legacy, and inspire the next generation of aviation innovators. This year's enshrinees included test pilots, a former Marine Corps Aviator and Commandant, a former USAF Chief of Staff, and an astronaut on the Apollo 7 mission. Attendees at the event included a Tuskegee Airman, the first branch chief of Army Aviation, one of the first female airline Captains, numerous astronauts, industry CEOs and leaders. The group also received a private tour of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum the following morning from a volunteer docent and 30-year veteran pilot of the USAF.
