Men's Swim & Dive Wins TYR Fall ClassicThe Army West Point men's swim and dive team won five events to close out the weekend en route to a first-place finish at the TYR Fall Classic at the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center. The 493.5 points compiled by the Black Knights was a 40-point improvement from last year's total at the meet. Grand Canyon finished behind the Cadets with 478 points, while George Washington (440.5), TCU (407) and Florida Atlantic (369) rounded out the top-five team scores.

The final day began with Brian McKenrick, Ty Dang, Johnny Ellery and Josh Zock posting a third-place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:33.67) Tom Ottman won Army's first event of the afternoon once he touched the wall at 4:30.80 in the 500 free. After winning the 100 breast on day one, Dang secured the top time in the 200 breast by besting the competition with his time of 2:03.88. Kevin Doo secured the win in the 100 free (45.52) after winning the B-Final in the 100 breast earlier in the day at 2:04.83. In the 200 fly, it was Ellery who finished first in the field after he touched the wall at 1:50.74. Jay Yang was the top finisher for the Cadets in the 200 back, placing third at 1:52.20, before tying with Dayne Odendaal of TCU for the win in the 200 IM (1:52.58). Kevin Lin won the B-Finals in the 500 free (4:33.65) and the 200 fly (1:53.49). Nathan Hein, Doo, Zock and Ottman wrapped up the swimming events with a second-place showing in the 400 free relay (3:03.86).
