Lake Frederick Fly Fishing Clinic

Ten cadets went to the Lake Frederick area for a fly fishing clinic. After using club meetings to practice fly casting in Arvin Gym and learn fly tying, these cadets put those new skills into action on the water. Three cadets caught their first fish on a fly rod. Other new experiences were catching new species of fish, catching fish on a fly they tied, and catching fish from a boat. Longtime external supporter of the club Leigh Oliva volunteered his time to work with all the cadets at the clinic.
