AIAD at the U.S. Institute of Peace in Washington, DC

Four cadets from a diverse group of majors were on Academic Individual Advanced Development (AIAD) to the United States Institute of Peace (USIP) in Washington, DC. USIP is an independent national institute dedicated to advancing global security and U.S. interests through means other than violence. Despite this academic diversity, all participants applied their academic knowledge to various missions within the Institute. From writing articles on Iran and Middle East to attending Congressional discussions about Russia, the cadets interacted with governmental and non-governmental experts, developing networks and knowledge beyond the walls of West Point.
