Cow Sam Sullivan led the way Saturday morning versus rival Navy, as the Black Knights women's rugby team cruised to a 50-0 over the Midshipmen. Sullivan scored four tries in the shutout victory to give Army (2-1) its fifth straight 15's win versus Navy. Mackenzie Borchers also provided two tries to help pace the Cadets. Army got off to a fast start with two Sullivan tries in the first 20 minutes to open up a 12-0 lead. Kailen Young would add one more score before the half to make it 19-0 Black Knights. The Cadets poured it on the final 40 minutes, scoring five tries. Borchers provided her two tries for the first two scores of the second half. Charisma Henry would make it 36-0 Army with a try in the 69th minute. Sullivan added her final two tries to complete the scoring. Army women's rugby has never lost at the varsity level in 15's or 7's play versus Navy. This is the second 15's shutout in varsity play versus Navy, the other a 67-0 win in 2016. Read More
