Volleyball Perseveres Past Holy CrossTrailing in the fifth set, the Army West Point volleyball team rallied back to defeat Holy Cross, 3-2, on Sunday evening. It was the Black Knights' first Patriot League victory of 2018 and the team's sixth overall this season. Three Cadets notched double-doubles in the win. As a team, Army held a 66-46 advantage in kills over the Crusaders and led in assists (63-44), blocks (12-7) and digs (80-62).

Presley recorded a career-high 43 assists and had 14 digs to notch her second double-double of the season. Lum also had a double-double fueled by her 15 assist and 14 dig performance. The third double-double effort is credited to Lisa Sullivan who notched 11 kills and 14 digs, while also tallying four total blocks. Barnhorst led Army's scoring with 18 kills and a .405 hitting percentage. She added five block assists and three digs to total 21.5 points. Morriss added 13 kills, while Eckford recorded 12.
