The Black Knights' win snapped a five match losing streak with the win. The Cadets played extremely disciplined limiting themselves to just 12 errors, while FIU had 28. Barnhorst led the Black Knights with 18 points on 14 kills (.387) and seven blocks. Courtney Horace followed in kills with eight, while Lisa Sullivan (7), Eckford (5) and Morriss (5) all notched multiple kills in the match.
