Cow safety Jaylon McClinton was named the Army West Point Athletic Association Athlete of the Week after his performance in football's 38-14 win over Liberty last Saturday. McClinton register five tackles and forced two turnovers in the victory. He caused and recovered a fumble early in the game and then recorded an interception as well.
The Charlotte, N.C., native is third on the team in tackles with 11 in two games and he was the first player to make an interception this season. The Black Knights are back in action this Saturday at 12 p.m. against Hawai'i at Michie Stadium and the game can be seen live on CBS Sports Network or fans can listen live on the Army Sports Network.
