2LT Matlack and Cadet Kilcullen won the "Best Speaker" awards at the 2018 Lafayette Debates hosted by the French Embassy, which qualified them to participate in the Young Ambassadors Study Tour in Paris sponsored by the French Foreign Ministry. The tour focused on the 1968 Student Revolts in France.
