Cadets on AIAD in Thailand

Associate Professor of Economics, Dr. Susan Carter, is leading a group of cadets on an AIAD in Nan Province, Thailand, as part of a three-week long excursion with Cross Cultural Solutions. Nan is the northernmost province of Thailand and remains relatively isolated to westerners. During their stay, the AIAD participants have an opportunity to volunteer in the local community, serving as English teachers at a grade school. Dr. Carter and the cadets also have a chance to learn more about Thai culture; they recently participated in a Muay Thai boxing demonstration and met with a Buddhist monk.
