The Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering held an award ceremony recognizing the department’s top performers. The LTG Leslie R. Groves Award for the most outstanding performance in the Nuclear Engineering major was presented to Cadet Daniel Zheng. The Gerald Counts award for the outstanding cadet majoring in Physics, and the Sewell Tappan Tyng Award for the most outstanding performance in the Nuclear Engineering core engineering sequence, were presented to Cadet Garret Simon. Goeppert-Mayer Awards for the most outstanding cadets majoring in Interdisciplinary Science were presented to Cadets Haley Duke and Nicholas McNiffe. The Jackson Space Science Award for the outstanding cadet majoring in Space or Interdisciplinary Science was presented to Cadet Blake Hansen. Lincoln Laboratory Military Fellowships were presented to Cadets Nolan Hedglin and Garrett Simon.
