Four members of the Department of Physics and Nuclear Engineering and SFC Carla Loy Song from the West Point Band represented USMA as part of a PAO engagement in New York City. CPT Boone Gilbreath and LTC Corey Gerving attended a luncheon at the University Club in New York City, considered the most prestigious social club in New York City. The luncheon included a tour of their historic building, constructed in 1899. MAJs Jake Capps and Jill Rahon attended the monologue rehearsal for the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, where Mr. Fallon practices jokes and other material for the opening portion of that night's show. SFC Carla Loy Song got to sing with the Tonight Show band! Click here to watch her sing. Then, CPT Gilbreath, MAJs Capps and Rahon, and LTC Gerving stayed for the taping of the Fleet Week special edition of the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, which aired on May 24, 2018. The audience for the show was made up entirely of active duty service members representing the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Guests for the show were Cate Blanchet, Guy Fieri, and Darius Rucker.
