Wrestling Places Four at US Open in Las Vegas

Army West Point wrestlers Ben Harvey, Jeremiah Imonode, Alex Hopkins and Bobby Heald earned podium finishes at the US Open Wrestling Championships last week. Harvey (sixth at 79kg) and Imonode (eighth at 92kg) both placed as the only Cadets competing in the senior freestyle division, while Hopkins (fifth at 92kg) and Heald (seventh at 125kg) did so in the UWW junior freestyle division. Additionally, Harvey, Hopkins and Heald all qualified for the World Team Trials. Thirteen total Black Knights competed at the event, posting a combined mark of 27-28 with four falls and 11 technical falls. Hopkins posted a team-best 5-2 mark and earned the highest finish, while Harvey's three bonus point victories led the squad.
