70th Anniversary of Israeli Independence

Members of the Jewish Chapel Choir traveled to Savannah, GA to participate in the community's commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Israeli Independence. The choir attended Sabbath services at Temple Agudath Achim. Following services, the choir performed secular and religious pieces in English and Hebrew. Cadets also held a question and answer session, during which members of the congregation asked questions pertaining to West Point and cadet life. The choir also took the opportunity to tour Savannah's historic waterfront district, walking the cobble-stone streets and exploring the city's small park squares, war monuments and fountains.
