Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering's (CME) Cadets and Faculty traveled to the University of Texas at Austin to attend the annual meeting of the Gulf-Southwest Section (GSW) of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Cadets John Etringer '18 and Steven O’Brien '18 presented their paper which discussed the impact of their multidisciplinary team on the performance of the Steel Bridge Team. CPT Michael Campbell presented a paper which discussed the impact of a “Design Review” technique on student learning. Cadets and faculty observed similar presentations from other universities as well as toured an active construction site in downtown Austin.
