Clik here to view.The Army West Point women's tennis team will travel to Lubbock, Texas to face 11-seeded Texas Tech for the first round of the NCAA Tournament, announced by the association Tuesday during its selection show. The Black Knights will be making their 14th all-time appearance at NCAAs and the first since 2013 after winning the Patriot League title over service-academy rival Navy. This will be the program's second trip to Texas after facing 4-seed California in College Station in 2003. Additionally, it will be the first time in program history Army will play Texas Tech and the team's fifth-highest seed at the national tournament. "This was our goal since our first day of practice," said head coach Paul Peck. "We knew that we were hosting the Patriot League Championships, and our goal was to raise another banner. It's what we've been working toward all year long, so we're ecstatic to actually achieve that goal."
