Army West Point baseball and Navy will meet this weekend for three critical Patriot League games and their much-anticipated Star series. The two academies will meet Friday night under the lights of Fenway Park in Boston, Mass., before closing out the weekend with a doubleheader at West Point on Saturday. The baseball "Star" will be on the line during this series and will go to the overall winner of the three-game set. First pitch for Friday's game is slated for 6 p.m., while Saturday's twin bill kicks off at 3 p.m. Rich DeMarco and Bryan Price will be on each of the calls for the Patriot League Network. These two adversaries will meet for the 232nd time in their historic rivalry on Friday. The Mids currently hold a 120-111 edge on the all-time series but Army has already taken two of the team's five meetings this year with a doubleheader sweep at Camden Yards back on March 25. Army sits atop the conference standings but Navy follows closing behind in second. The Black Knights are currently riding a 10-game winning streak, with eight of those coming during league play.
