The Army West Point golf team placed fourth at the Wofford Invitational here Tuesday afternoon. The Black Knights carded scores of 282-283-301—866 (+2) to close out the two-day tournament. ETSU jumped from third place on Day 1 to first place after posting a field-low 276 during the final round. The Bucs posted scores of 288-279-276—843 to shoot an impressive 21-under par and take home the title. Host Wofford and Austin Peay State finished just ahead of Army in second and third, respectively. Wofford notched marks of 286-276-294—856 (-8), while Austin Peay State recorded scores of 286-284-288—858 (-6). Dean Sakata finished as Army's best golfer and placed tied for third after carding 66-66-77—209 (-7) during the tournament.
