Army West Point Baseball team saw Josh White named the Army West Point Athlete of the Week following his impressive performance over the weekend. This was his third weekly award since Monday as he was also tabbed the Patriot League and College Sports Madness Player of the Week. White batted .462 (6-for-13) with three runs scored and three runs batted in to help Army start 4-0 in conference play. The second baseman hit safely in all four games, while slugging .462 and posting a .500 on-base percentage. White went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader with Bucknell. He went 2-for-4 with one run and one driven in, in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against Navy. He also had six putouts and five assists in the field during the week.
The Army squad is back in action this week when it welcomes Siena in its home opener on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
