Men's Lacrosse Jumps in a Pair of National Polls

The Army West Point Men's Lacrosse team jumped up to 12th this week in the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse/Nike Coaches Poll and in 13th the Inside Lacrosse Maverik Media Poll. The Black Knights are now 5-2 on the year and are 2-1 in the Patriot League. The Black Knights knocked off Holy Cross 5-3 on Saturday due to a career-best performance by AJ Barretto in net. The cow was named the Patriot League Goalie of the Week for the second time after making 14 saves, causing two turnovers, picking up three groundballs and recorded his first-career assist. The Cadets had five different goal scorers in Saturday's game with all of the goals being assisted. Army's firstie class now boasts 37 wins in their careers on the banks of the Hudson and are three shy of a program record. Army will travel to Colgate this Saturday for a 12 p.m. matchup in Hamilton, N.Y.
