Ten cadets of the USMA Model United Nations team traveled to Boston, Mass. to participate in the Harvard National Model United Nations conference hosted by Harvard University. This conference is the largest on the Model UN circuit in the U.S., with over 3,000 delegates from several countries competing.
The conference ended with multiple individual awards given to cadets, with the entire team performing well and exercising improvisational speaking skills, negotiation, and cooperative problem solving.
The following cadets were individually recognized for their outstanding performances: Jake Stoffel '19, John Govern '19, John Lorenz '20, Katarina Christianson '21 and Justin Jang '20. The following cadets were also integral to the team's success: George Pavlakis '21, Amanda Horsey '19, Kenny Castillo '21, Hunter Hill '20 and Jeronne Carter '20.
