Four cadets traveled to the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington D.C. to execute the crisis simulation event. The cadets joined graduate students on the People's Republic of China, Russian Federation, Republic of Korea, and Japan teams. This year, the simulation focused on escalatory behavior: specifically, under what conditions do states choose to escalate crises? The simulation is a fast-paced environment in which to test students understanding of policy, political and military organizations, history, current events, and international relations.
