Presentation of "Officially Indian" to USMA Library

Mr. Martin Earring, (Mnicoujou/Oglala Lakota) Special Assistant, Executive Office - Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, provided the book "Officially Indian: Symbols that Define the United States" to the USMA Library. The book was given to the USMA Native American Heritage Forum for the USMA Library during its visit to the National Museum of the American Indian. This book documents the exhibit currently in the museum about Native American symbols that are part of American culture. LTC Jared Ware, OIC for the Native American Heritage Forum, presented the book to Christopher Barth, Librarian and Associate Dean, for inclusion in the library collection.
