Cadets and faculty from the Anatomy course engaged in realistic neurovascular surgical training and simulations. Dr. Rocco Armonda ’86 Director of Neuroendovascular Surgery at MedStar-Georgetown University Hospital worked with a team of representatives from BrainLab and Penumbra, companies specializing in the development and manufacturing of equipment for brain surgery and simulations, to provide the cadets training on the newest equipment and procedures involving brain surgery. COL(R) Edward Falta '86, MD, a surgeon at Keller Army Community Hospital (KACH) and USMA instructor, coordinated the training in anticipation of the Anatomy trip section.
