The Pistol Team hosted Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for its final home pistol match of the season at Tronsrue Marksmanship Center. Army won the match with a three-event aggregate score of 6195 to MIT's 6093. In Free Pistol, the first event Garrett Plant '19 had the high team score of 506 out of a possible 600. Army dominated the second event, Standard Pistol, with a four-person team score of 2052 to MIT's 1995. Keegan Buros '20 shot the high team score of 527 out of a possible 600. Army won the final event, Air Pistol, with a four-person team score of 2201 to MIT's 2143. Garrett Plant and Chris Forden '20 both shot scores of 561 out of a possible 600 for the match high score. Army's next match is the National Intercollegiate Pistol Championships at Fort Benning, where Army will be competing against the top ten collegiate teams in the country.
